Regarding Michael - Apparently, he was told the same lies as investors, so don't blame him, blame the ones who invented this scheme. "The fish stinks from the head" as a famous German saying goes ...
IPO - I like your dark sense of humor. But talking about checks, does anyone know how much more money they've sucked out of the company over the past year? They are still offering warrants as if they will be no tomorrow. Is no one investing? What dilution have equity holders suffered by now? Do they still have a claim on the underlying patents or is an empty shell all that's left by now? Have they invested anything into the technology over the past year? How much cash is left? And when will the debt come due, shouldn't it be within the next few weeks? How will they be able to pay it back?
By the way, from my experience, any company that refused to published audited results (whatever excuse was used) eventually collapsed. So I ask you, Mr. Car Guy, WHERE ARE THE AUDITED RESULTS?

"satisfied with the current progress and direction of the company" - please explain. So what exactly did they like? The massive offering of warrants and dilution of equity holders? The increasing debt burden which puts the patents at risk? The fact that no OEM ever wanted to license the technology? The ad-hoc bonuses paid? The lack of audited results? The lack of industry knowledge and understanding of the technology? The track record of misleading investors, burning money and enriching themselves? The SEC investigation? Yes, there is a lot of stuff to like here - but only if you are a masochist!

I don't know Lutz at all and I don't know what the back story is but you can't crucify a guy for going to a party...especially a world cup party.
There are 10 thousand legitimate reasons why someone cannot work full time and still be able enough to go out for a few hours.
If he truly is sick, I hope he gets better. As for being caught...he certainly doesn't look very camera shy.
And...he IS standing right next to a medical doctor.
He was/is a VP...so I guess he should be under the microscope somewhat but perhaps your focus should be on all the European contracts that never got signed.
Perhaps you will get your opportunity to ask him about the party someday but the more interesting question might be for Niko and Andrea... Are they really smuggling money from Dubai? Wow...that internet is crazy. Perhaps in a couple years you can ask yourself who in that foursome was in the better company?
Anyway, thanks for entertaining me for a few minutes.
Now, back to waiting to see how this all plays out.

P.S. The guy next to him in the picture is a dermatologist, not sure how he would be of any help here. I don't think Mr. Deyerling ever had acne or other skin problems.
I heard that Deyerling just recently told investors not to contact him because of his serious medical condition. Wasn't Deyerling the one who sold the shares to European moms and pops? So now that it looks their money is going down the drain he goes out partying, smoking cigars and drinking champagne in a luxury hotel? What message does this send? The picture has been seen by almost all German investors by now and they are under shock that is slowly turning into anger. I believe many who hesitated so far will now be willing to engage in lawsuits.

@truthy - He lied to investors claiming he is seriously ill and hospitalized. If you don't have a problem with that sort of behavior you must certainly be one of the Scuderis.
