Thanks for the update Paul.
That is really good news, I was not even aware that they had a production ready engine yet.
I hope they put up a dedicated website for their generators that gives all of the details.

Hey Lonny, I wouldn't expect too much more than a sales pitch on their website....but they have been renovating: www.scuderiengine.com/power-generation/Hope all is well. Thanks for the update Paul. That is really good news, I was not even aware that they had a production ready engine yet. I hope they put up a dedicated website for their generators that gives all of the details.

I guess since scuderi is not selling generators they do not need to tell potential customers the specifications of the generator. All they need to do is tell the price per kilowatt.
Since they are not actually selling the Scuderi engine do y'all get a cut of the money or does this just help refine the engine so that someday soon an OEM will sign a licence?

Lonny,
I am not holding my breath for any money. I can only hope something comes but I am not convinced SG can bring all this new gen power and have it make money. God I hope I'm wrong but based on past experiences with the Company I don't see why things would be different.
Now because I said a few things SG might not like I have to add my disclaimer: All of the foregoing is my opinion. I don't give anyone permission to cut/paste and disseminate my comments to a broader audience. This is a private communication intended for the above captioned recipients only. I do not wish to forward or commence any misstatements about or towards the Scuderi Group or Scuderi family members. Everything I have ever written in any blog is my opinion only based on the facts as I knew them to be at that time. Whew.

Hi Lenny, How can I ask you a technical question without it being on this open forum?

Hopefully SOMEC can convince the large ship engine builders to licence the Scuderi engine.
It sounds like SOMEC is a sales oriented business so they may be very good at reeling in a licence.
If they can get a company to sign a licence and prove out a full scale prototype it could lead to other licences.

Thanks Fox,
Not that we are really famous but it is nice to be included as one of the companies that are trying to develop a split cycle engine.
Scuderi then Tour then.................Doyle. LOL!
We had a GM powertrain engineer speak with us for a while and at the end he asked if he could get a copy of the cycle analysis.
I think we may try for an SBIR grant. I would like to have a little more research done and a grant would sure help with that.
I know several of you folks have mentioned you would like to someday invest in the DRE, I have not forgot about you, I just would not feel comfortable taking your money at this point in time.
After I get a little more research completed I would like to invite you to an AMA (ask me anything) about the the DRE and about Me.
When I finally open the DRE for Investors I would like for you to be well informed and understand the risks.
I feel that even the most technical areas of an engine can be described in such a way that most people can understand and I do like talking about engines.
Thanks Lonny Doyle 214-334-0232

Have y'all heard anything about who is going to fund the development of a the generators?
I looked at Wiki's description of a Memorandum of Understanding to see if it might give some clue as to what each party brings to the table but all it said was that it was a gentleman's agreement.
It would be nice to find that AHIS is going to foot the bill for the development.

Once the a Power Purchasing Agreement is signed, the PPA will be set up in Special Purpose Entities under a newly formed company. Then the investment banks will finance the projects based on these long term revenue bearing agreements and thus the generators will be paid for in advanced and purchased from the Scuderi Group directly.
